The “Hahnenholz” apartment is laid out over two floors, with living downstairs and sleeping upstairs. The living spaces are spacious. Living room with spacious seating area and dining area, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower have almost everything you could want on vacation. In the apartment a staircase leads up to the two bedrooms. These are small but homely - a double room and a twin room. We would be happy to prepare a Thuringian country breakfast for you, then the day begins with Thuringian specialties, many of them homemade. A large selection of current tour recommendations are available to make your vacation day interesting. We have electric bikes available for those slightly further afield. Hiking is part of our program. We would also be happy to accompany you. But if you want to switch off, you've come to the right place. It's really quiet here. 50m behind the house our street becomes a hiking trail, there is no through traffic. Seating areas in front of the house invite you to read or simply laze around. The legendary Rennsteig, Germany's most famous long-distance hiking trail, is in the immediate vicinity.
