The Spreewald-Mosterei Jank has existed in Burg (Spreewald) since 1958. This long tradition gave rise to the desire to offer our guests something more than just normal holiday apartments. The idea of sleeping in a wine barrel was born. Dream and relax in our barrel beds, store your wardrobe in barrel cupboards, take a sauna in our barrel sauna and enjoy the unique ambience of our apartments.

Also visit our exhibition about the history of the Spreewald cider factory. It presents historical machines, filling systems and a lot of interesting information about our development history.

The Spreewald is a UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve covering over 400 km². As a result of the last ice age around 20,000 years ago, the Spree divided into a finely structured network of meltwater channels, known in the Spreewald as the river. The best way to explore these is on a long boat trip or on your own by canoe, kayak or paddle boat. In this idyllic landscape lies the feel-good town of Burg with healing springs and spa facilities.
